  A gem of a castle with an interesting history. The original shell keep has a few phases of construction which can be seen in the upstanding monument, but the real surprise is the reconstruction of a medieval hall in the later house. The place gives you a feel of what life looked like in the 14th century - I hope they continue it through the rest of the building.
